Dear Brothers Priests and Lay Faithful of the Diocese of Imus,

Greetings of peace!

During a meeting held on August 13, 2026, the Presbyteral Council of the Diocese of Imus determined that no major constructions will be initiated in all parishes within the Diocese, with the exception of previously approved projects.

This decision is effective immediately and was made in view of the forthcoming free conferral of assignments that will transpire in June 2027, which is a significant moment of transition within our Local Church.

Instead of directing our attention and efforts toward new projects, we are invited to focus on this transition.

I urge everyone to ensure that all temporal goods, as well as the spiritual and pastoral programs in all parishes, are adequately prepared and properly attended to. This will enable us to embrace the grace of this new beginning with the spirit of trust and confidence in the Lord who calls us for mission.
